The wolf found himself burying his face into the reaper’s arms and chest, gripping him possessively.
“I’m sorry…I can’t seem to help it. Wolves are territorial.” A large breath blew out from his lips- it sounded exhausted and lifeless but still a breath that meant Dominic was living.
“I’m not property,” Canicus said, eyebrows furrowing.
He sighed and nuzzled his nose into Dominic’s hair, his heart swelling happily at Dominic’s scent. “I love you, but I can’t be just for you. You have part of me, but not all of me.”
He reached up and gave Dominic’s ear a loving skritch. “Please cheer up.”
